Acceptance of Terms

By using ghostit.app or the GhostIt app ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. The Service is operated by Sakavision GmbH, Siedlerweg 3h, 8041 Graz, Austria (see our Impressum).

The Service

GhostIt automatically aligns two handheld videos into a single ghost-composite overlay, processed entirely on your device. GhostIt YouTube is a companion product that ghosts clips sourced from YouTube URLs. GhostIt is currently distributed as a free beta via Apple TestFlight; a paid subscription model is planned for general release, at pricing shown in the App Store listing at that time.

Eligibility & Accounts

You need a compatible iPhone and an Apple ID to install and use GhostIt via TestFlight or the App Store. Your Apple ID account and any purchases through it are governed by Apple's own terms, separate from these.

Subscriptions & Payments

Any current or future paid tier of GhostIt is billed and processed entirely through Apple's App Store / In-App Purchase system. We never see or store your payment details. Pricing, trial periods, and billing cycles are as shown in the App Store at time of purchase, and are managed (including cancellation) through your Apple ID account settings, not through us.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the video and photo content you use in GhostIt. Because processing happens entirely on your device, we never receive, store, or have access to your footage. You're responsible for having the right to use and combine any footage you load into the app.

Intellectual Property

GhostIt's alignment and compositing technology is patent-pending. The GhostIt name, wordmark, and related branding are the property of Sakavision GmbH. This website's design, text, and media (excluding your own content) may not be copied or reused without permission.

Acceptable Use

Don't use the Service to process content you don't have the rights to, to violate any law, or to attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the app, website, or beta program.

No Guarantees

GhostIt is provided "as is," including during beta, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alignment/compositing results will meet any particular standard for every combination of footage.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sakavision GmbH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited under Austrian or EU consumer protection law.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (Apple App Store/TestFlight, Google Forms, PostHog; see our Privacy Policy). We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

Termination

We may suspend or end beta access or the Service at our discretion, including for violations of these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete the app at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Austrian law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
